Our Story
Founded in 2013 by Tracey & Kev Phillipa
Platinum Care Services was founded in anticipation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) whose roll out began in 2013. Already working in the disability sector, Tracey & Kev leveraged their experience and knowledge of the needs of those with disabilities.
They welcomed NDIS because it put people with a disability first, empowering them to make informed choices about where they would get their care and what type of care they needed.
The team saw an opportunity to offer a personalised service. In forming Platinum Care Services, they wanted to use their experience in disability care to create a new standard that would start in Queensland, but become Australia-wide. It would be based on the principle that the support and services that people with disabilities need should be as individual as they are.
